At Jack & Jill we believe that parents are the single most important influence in the lives of children. They are the real teachers. We believe we can be of special value to parents by contributing to the growth and development of the young child. We strive to promote better understanding between home and school by developing strong relationships with our families.
We encourage parents to visit the school, to talk with the teacher about their child, and to participate in the program fully. This includes parents working in the classroom and participating in the important decisions of school. That is what “co-op” is all about.
We offer opportunities for parent conferences, discussions about parenting issues, fun activities for families, and a lending library of books and pamphlets. Most of all we offer the desire to work with parents toward the better understanding and education of their children.
